The absence of Lee Cattermole could be pivotal in terms of not losing players to injuries. Also, Onuoha is a doubt for Sunderland.
For Arsenal, Laurent Koscielny could yet feature, but it could well be that Squillaci deputises as Koscielny is saved for Tuesday. Szczesny should come back in for Almunia and Djourou should come back into the side, along with Sagna and Clichy. We know Fabregas and Song are set to miss out, alongside Van Persie and Walcott; so in front the defence we know Wilshere will feature with possibility of Denilson, Diaby, Rosicky or possibly Ramsey joining in. In attack, the chances are we will see Nasri, Arshavin and Chamakh.
Both Samir Nasri have been speaking about Aaron Ramsey; Nasri about the reception he will get and Wenger about his recovery.
